Project context

A longer-format project where the soundtrack has to hold both cinematically and technically across delivery contexts.

Welcome to the Moon is a Danish feature film premiering April 30, 2026, directed by Aske Bang and released by Rialto Film Entertainment. I handle foley and sound design on the film and build immersive Dolby Atmos sound images where detail, movement and spatial direction support the cinematic experience.

This case points to the part of my practice where creative decision-making and delivery discipline need to stay tightly aligned throughout post.

Process

An immersive approach from detail to space

Atmos only matters when it works as an exact extension of the story.

Feature films in Dolby Atmos demand creative and technical rigor: the sound must work immersively in cinema and translate to stereo without losing dramatic impact. Deliverables with ADM BWF, stems and fold-down need to remain controlled and consistent.

The mix uses Atmos to place sound objects precisely in space. Bed layers carry the foundation, objects create focus and movement, and the stereo fold-down is verified continuously for consistency.

An object-based spatial setup where detail and movement need to scale in cinema and still translate to stereo.

The case makes visible the part of post where delivery requirements and creative sound shaping meet.

When immersive choices and technical specifications need to meet inside the same process, this is where the conversation should begin.
